The current Toyota Vios is a considerably larger car than the Etios, measuring 4,410 mm in length, 1,700 mm in width, and 1,475 mm in height.It also states that Toyota Kirloskar Motor has placed orders for components of its next-generation Vios, which further affirms its introduction in India. It will pack two new engines: a 1.6-litre petrol and a 1.6-litre diesel engine, which could either be manufactured at Toyota』s upcoming engine plant in Jigani, Karnataka or imported in some form from Thailand.報也導指出，新VIOS將完全不同，印度版的VIOS 將會采用1.6公升汽油和柴油引擎，取代原本的1.5公升引擎。確定明年一月發布！

印度版Vios的新汽油估計是來自上一代Corolla Altis的VVT-i ZR引擎，而柴油引擎可能來自法國PSA Peugeot Citroen集團開發的DLD柴油引擎。
